I loved being part of Lisa and Tims big day. They married on the most beautiful of summer days this year at St. Helens Church in WElton, just outside of Hull in the heart of the East Riding of Yorkshire. Then all the guests hopped on vintage East Yorkshire buses over the Humber Bridge to a beautiful renovated farmhouse in New Barnetby, North Lincolnshire.
I first met Lisa and Tim over a year ago one cold winters morning with their son Oscar who shares the same name as my eldest son. We all hit it off immediately over a cuppa tea with biscuits! Lisa and I share our love of Pinterest and all things DIY! We decided to set up a shared pin board and this worked amazingly for us in the up and coming months before their big day. Lisa's vision came to life and I could see exactly how they wanted their day to be captured.
From start to finish, Lisa and Tims day was a real family affair with Tims brothers catering for the reception and the children being involved with ring baring. Family came from four corners of the world to be there for them both as I've never seen so many fetching kilts!! This was a traditional Yorkshire wedding with Scottish family values and lots definately lots of cheek!
