Having spent an amazing day capturing a wedding on Friday at the Tickton Grange in Beverley, I was totally excited to be spending the next day doing another wedding! It's my first back to back weekend of the year and I have to say I found this wedding especially nice because i've known the bride for a long time!
It was all hands to the deck as soon as I arrived at the Mecure Royal Station Hotel in the heart of Hull city centre. There were bridesmaid and flower girls rushing around getting ready, the mothers of the bride and groom, florists, videographers... I lost count of the number of heads in the room but it was so much fun to capture the day and there wasn't a quiet moment which made for a great day for taking wedding photos.
I love taking wedding photographs in my home town of Hull, it's a sense of feeling comfortable and familiar that I think comes out in the photos. I love the Hull station itself with the creamy walls and beautiful light too and I really wanted to incorporate that into the vintage style wedding too.
Congratulations Adele and Matthew xx
